Wine Information
About the wine
Greco has citrus and herbal flavours.
This wine is fermented at low temperatures in pristine stainless steel tanks to preserve these delicious flavours and to lock in natural acidity that contributes to the wine’s thirst- quenching freshness.
About the producer
The Farnese group was founded in 1994 by Valentino Sciotti. Alberto Antonini – a world renowned talent who’s been named one of the top five winemakers in the world by Decanter magazine – oversees production, ensuring that these wines offer great quality and varietal character.
About the region
The Greco di Tufo vineyards are over 400 metres above sea level and the altitude gives the grapes fantastic exposure to sunlight, filling them with rich flavour. Over many years, breezes from the Bay of Naples have carried volcanic dust from Mount Vesuvius that’s settled into the soils. This imbues the grapes with a distinct mineral quality.
